FARMING EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY FUND (FETF) 2025
On the 7th May 2025, the Government announced that another round of the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) will be opening for applications. The application window for FETF opens on the 29th May 2025 and closes on Thursday 10th July 2025.
The FETF offers 3 types of grants to help buy items to:
There are a wide number of items available under FETF, and applications must be between £1,000 and £25,000.

COUNTRYSIDE STEWARDSHIP
Countryside Stewardship – Mid Tier
CS Mid Tier Scheme is now closed. Actions that were previously found under the Mid Tier agreements have been merged into the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) which is currently undergoing review and, therefore, applications currently unavailable.
Countryside Stewardship – Higher Tier
Countryside Stewardship has provided funding for farmers and land managers over the last several years enabling management of land to protect, restore or enhance the environment, whilst also aiming to alleviate the effects of climate change. Currently applications for Countryside Stewardship are closed, with no indication of when they may re-open.
The Government have announced that an improved CS Higher Tier Scheme will become available in Summer 2025.
Countryside Stewardship - Capital Grants
Countryside Stewardship Capital Grants are currently closed but are due to re-open for new applications later this year, with limits set on the 4 categories which can be applied for. The limits are as follows:
£25,000.00 for air quality.
£25,000.00 for water quality.
£25,000.00 for natural flood management.
£35,000.00 for boundaries, trees and orchards.
