Vicarage Fields, Scawby Road, Broughton
We want to hear your comments
DDM Agriculture are preparing an outline planning application for residential development at Vicarage Fields, Scawby Road, Broughton.
We would like to invite you to view our draft plans and we would like to hear what local people think about the proposals as part of our consultation.
At this stage, the development proposal is for a scheme of up to 79 dwellings. The indicative plan shows a possible layout, however, our planning application will be in outline only at this stage, meaning it will seek to establish the principle of development, and how the site will be accessed. It will not be seeking approval for the exact location, size, layout or style of the homes or the road pattern within the site. That would need to be the subject of a separate application in the future.
The consultation is taking place at a time when it is not possible to undertake an open 'in person' event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we are undertaking the consultation in a digital format. We are seeking your views on the proposal and asking you to submit any comments to us before 5pm Monday 14 December 2020.
Why this site?
- There is a need for more homes to be delivered in North Lincolnshire
- Broughton is a sustainable settlement that is well served by a range of services
- The site is not at risk of flooding and is not Green Belt.
- The site is identified as a preferred housing allocation in The Emerging Local Plan.
- The traffic generated by the development can be safely accommodated on the road network.
- Our survey work has not identified any issues that would mean the site should not be developed.
We invite you to submit your comments on the proposals and there are a variety of ways you can get in touch with us:
