Michael Townend

About

Michael has approaching 50 years experience as a Rural Valuer, Auctioneer and Advisor to the Agricultural Community and Clients.

Having qualified via a correspondence course with the College of Estate Management, and as an article to his Father Neville E. Townend in the 1970’s.  He is a Fellow and Registered Valuer of the RICS, and Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.

Michael is involved in all aspects of the rural agency, valuations and sales, with particular expertise in the areas of compulsory purchase, renewables, utility schemes, expert witness and dispute resolution work and project management.

Michael’s interests out of work include country sports both at home and abroad and travelling.  He is actively involved in fraternal charity organisations, and has a love and passion for all things food, particularly fine dining.
