About
Matthew comes from a farming family in East Lincolnshire. He graduates from the University of Reading with an honours degree in Land management and became a Chartered Surveyor in 2005 whilst working for Frank R Marshall & Co in Knutsford, Cheshire. Matthew has spent the last 17 years working for Fisher German in various midlands offices before joining Townend Clegg Agriculture in November 2023. In December 2025, Matthew passed his CAAV examinations.
In his spare time Matthew is a keen amateur racing driver and is chairman of the Caterham Graduates Racing Club.
