On the 25th February 2025, the Government released an update on Capital Grants following the temporary closure of the Capital Grants Scheme in November 2024.
The 4,040 applications that were put on hold back in November are now due to be processed.
The Capital Grants are due to re-open for new applications later this year, with limits set on the 4 categories which can be applied for. The limits are as follows:
You are able to apply for a grant in more than one category however, you will now only be able to make one capital grant application per Single Business Identifier (SBI) per year.
You are able to apply for the scheme at anytime throughout the year and will have three years to complete the approved application.
As a general overview, we are led to believe that in the next round of applications, all of the previous options will be made available plus some additional items to consider.
